Transfer your domain from another registrar to OnetSolutions to consolidate your services.

Before You Begin

Ensure all prerequisites are met before initiating a transfer to avoid delays or failures.

Prerequisites Checklist

1. Domain is active

   Your domain must be active and expire in more than 60 days.

2. Domain age requirement

   Your domain must have been created at least 60 days ago.

3. Valid contact emails

   Owner/admin contact email addresses must be valid and visible in WHOIS.

4. Domain unlocked

   Your domain must be unlocked at your current registrar.

5. Authorization code ready

   You must have the EPP/Auth code from your current registrar.

You can find the domain lock setting and authorization code in your current registrar’s domain management panel.

Transfer Process

1. Unlock your domain

   Log in to your current registrar and disable the domain lock.

2. Get authorization code

   Request the EPP/Auth code from your current registrar. This is typically found in your domain management panel.

3. Initiate transfer at OnetSolutions

   Start the transfer process in your OnetSolutions account and enter the authorization code.

4. Confirm transfer

   You’ll receive a confirmation email. Approve the transfer to proceed.

5. Wait for completion

   The transfer typically takes 7-15 days to complete.
